How to crop and resize photos using HP Image Editor
Cropping a Photo
- Open HP Image Editor.
- Click "File", then "Open" and browse to your images.
- Double click the image you would like to crop.
- Click and drag the corners of the photo to crop it.
- Click "Save" or "Save As" to save your cropped image or click
"Exit" to not save your changes.
Resizing a Photo
- Open HP Image Editor.
- Click "File", then "Open" and browse to your images.
- Double click on the image you want to resize.
- Select "Image" then "Resize".
- Change Units to pixels.
- Specify a width.
- Make sure "Keep original porportion" is checked.
- use 800 or less for a photo gallery photo (If less than 800, no need to change this.)
- 300-400 or less for a photo to be inserted in a Page or News
Item
(The picture above is 400 pixels wide.)
- 75 for a portrait photo (height will need to be 100 pixles for
portrait)
- Click OK.
