How to crop and resize photos using HP Image Editor

Cropping a Photo

  1. Open HP Image Editor.
  2. Click "File", then "Open" and browse to your images.
  3. Double click the image you would like to crop.
  4. Click and drag the corners of the photo to crop it.

  5. Click "Save" or "Save As" to save your cropped image or click "Exit" to not save your changes.


Resizing a Photo

  1. Open HP Image Editor.
  2. Click "File", then "Open" and browse to your images.
  3. Double click on the image you want to resize.
  4. Select "Image" then "Resize".

  5. Change Units to pixels.

  6. Specify a width.
    • Make sure "Keep original porportion" is checked.
    • use 800 or less for a photo gallery photo (If less than 800, no need to change this.)
    • 300-400 or less for a photo to be inserted in a Page or News Item
      (The picture above is 400 pixels wide.)
    • 75 for a portrait photo (height will need to be 100 pixles for portrait)
  7. Click OK.
